4 Billion Dead exists out of a concern for the possibility of extreme violence this century due to out of control rising temperatures.
We believe in fostering an ethos of nonviolence in ourselves and in the world that we interact with.
To understand the philosophy of nonviolence as envisioned by Gandhi, Tolstoy, and Martin Luther King Jr., we need a space where we can discuss these ideas and explore their meaning for the present era and 4 Billion Dead.
